3. Sunday rides: The 9.15am long ride has been discontinued for the time being due to lack of attendance. If anyone else wants to take up leading a longer ride please let me know. The 9.45am ride from Burnham Pool will continue and everyone is welcome.
4. Taunton Triathlon: As many of you are aware we try and get as many members to do this as possible as it is local and a great start to start the season, for the novices amongst you there is a novice race too which is half sprint distance. There will be lots of WCT members there to support those who haven’t done a triathlon before. However it fills up very quickly so you need to register online as soon as it opens on 7.1.13 at  http://tauntondeanetri.co.uk There is also an aquathlon there in February that still has places, another good early season race to aim for with a long and short distance which you can enter online now at the same address.
5. 5k Run and Pub 7.2.13 – After the Burnham 5km prom run on 7.2.13 we will be meeting in the pub for drinks/food.
6. Register: We will be keeping a register of attendees at all the training sessions from now on, there will be a list with members names on to sign in, please can members be responsible for signing themselves in at each session.
7. Points system: We have devised a points system for the Club Championship award. I have attached the details to this email, but in short there is a list of 11 races and you get points for your position (against other WCT members of the same gender), the person with the most points wins! (you need to read the details on the attached doc to see exactly how it works)
